VertexElement er den abstrakte basisklassen for per-vertex (eller per-polygon, per-edge) datalag festet til en Mesh.Hver underklasse lagrer en spesifikk type geometrisk attributt – normaler, UV-koordinater, vertex-farger eller smoothing-grupper.
