Camera is een Entity die een gezichtspunt definieert in een 3D-scène. Het bepaalt hoe de scène wordt geprojecteerd op een 2D-beeldvlak. Een camera is gekoppeld aan een Node om deze te positioneren en te oriënteren in de scène.

Implementatieopmerkingen

In de Java FOSS-editie, de Camera klasse heeft alleen constructors — er zijn geen cameraspecifieke eigenschappen (field-of-view, near/far plane, projection mode) geïmplementeerd.

Exportbeperking: Camera‑entiteiten zijn niet weggeschreven bij het exporteren van scènes. De glTF-exporteur (GltfExporter) verwerkt alleen Mesh entiteiten — Camera nodes worden stilzwijgend overgeslagen. Dit betekent dat een camera die aan een node is gekoppeld niet in een geëxporteerd bestand zal verschijnen. Het voorbeeld “Read Camera After Import” hieronder laat zien hoe je cameranamen uit een geïmporteerd bestand kunt lezen; echter, het terugschrijven van camera’s naar een nieuw bestand wordt niet ondersteund in deze editie.
